GitaLock — Terms of Use

Last updated: August 20, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms,” also referred to as the End User License Agreement or “EULA”) govern your use of the GitaLock mobile application (“GitaLock,” “the app”), provided by mndr.ai (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using GitaLock, you agree to these Terms.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to use GitaLock on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non‑commercial use, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or its content.

What GitaLock does

GitaLock helps you limit your own use of apps you select. On iOS it relies on Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) frameworks; on Android it uses usage‑access and display‑over‑other‑apps permissions. These are wellbeing tools, not security controls: they can be bypassed by changing system settings or removing the app. GitaLock is provided as an aid to your own intention and is not a guarantee that any app will be blocked.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. For Apple purchases, see Apple’s refund request page.

Scriptural content

The Sanskrit text of the Bhagavad Gītā is traditional. The English translation is Annie Besant’s 1922 rendering, which is in the public domain. The plain‑language meanings are modern paraphrases provided to aid understanding; they are interpretive and are offered for reflection, not as authoritative religious instruction.

Not medical or professional advice

GitaLock is a digital wellbeing and reflection tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it is not a treatment for any condition, including compulsive technology use. If you are struggling, please seek qualified help.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the apps and limits you choose, and for using GitaLock in a way that is safe for you. Do not rely on GitaLock to block access to anything where being blocked could cause harm — for example, apps you may need in an emergency.

Privacy

GitaLock collects no personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

GitaLock is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update GitaLock or these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

This licence remains in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms, and you may end it at any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles, except where local consumer‑protection law grants you stronger rights.
