GitaLock — Privacy Policy

GitaLock (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is built to protect your attention — and your privacy. We designed it to collect as little as possible. In fact, GitaLock collects no personal data.

Information we collect

None. GitaLock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

App selections — the apps and categories you choose to limit are picked through Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) system. They are stored privately on your device and are opaque even to us — GitaLock cannot see which specific apps you choose.
Screen Time & usage data — your usage is processed on your device by Apple’s system frameworks (DeviceActivity). We never receive, see, or store it.
Your settings — limits, schedules, goals, and preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
No accounts — GitaLock has no login or user accounts.
No analytics or tracking — GitaLock contains no third‑party analytics, advertising, or tracking software.

Subscriptions

GitaLock Plus subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple handles all transactions; their handling of your data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Data sharing

We do not share your data with anyone, because we do not collect it. GitaLock uses no third‑party services other than Apple’s App Store for purchases.

Data retention & deletion

All app data lives only on your device. Deleting GitaLock removes all of its data from your device.

Children’s privacy

GitaLock is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
